Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a woman 18 or older with a passion to help the unborn and women facing challenging pregnancies? Can you commit to keeping in contact with your mentee throughout the duration of her pregnancy? Then you qualify! You will be sent self-paced training materials to complete prior to being paired with a mentee.

Your mentee and you can decide how often you will check in and what form of communication you prefer. FaceTime once a month, send a weekly email, or text every couple days--it's completely up to you two!

Your application responses will be compared with mentee applications. The goal is to pair women based on similar preferences for communication and their desires for this experience.

Authentic relationships are a core value of this program. Be yourself and speak with love and compassion at all times! When you sign up to become a mentor, you will be sent training materials with helpful tips and guidelines for your conversations with your mentee. If questions or concerns arise during your mentorship, you can always contact us for help.

As a Leap for Joy mentor, you will have access to our Resource Guide and will be trained on how to use this tool to help your mentee.
